Regional Enterprise Sales Leader - Amazon Business

The Amazon Business team is dedicated to developing solutions that make it easy for enterprise business customers to buy on Amazon.com. Regional Enterprise Sales Managers define strategy and execute tactical plans to help enterprise businesses ($250MM - $2.5B annual revenue) reinvent the way they buy indirect supplies. The sales manager plans and delivers quota, builds and develops accounts managers (who we call customer advisors), implements prospect acquisition and customer growth campaigns, and fosters voice of customer feedback. The ideal candidate will have experience building sales teams from scratch, growing sales teams, consistently delivering multi-million $ to $1B quotas, executing sales strategy and tactics, and developing cross-functional relationships to voice customer feedback to internal stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities

· While always placing the customer first, lead the team to Deliver Results by executing on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets

· Develop regional territory plans and report on them quarterly

· Drive prioritized lead generation for the team

· Lead and inspire a growing organization comprised of enterprise customer advisors on customer acquisition and growth in the US

· Hire and Develop customer advisors and sales leaders to support continued, “rocket ship” growth

· Leader of leaders – responsible for growth and development of front-line managers and senior customer advisors to constantly raise the bar in talent, execution, process design, goals, and incentives

· Understand and mechanize the inputs and outputs of the business

· Drive customer satisfaction across the customer base with expert account management

· Partner with Sales Operations and Marketing to test, measure, and execute tactical sales

· Partner with Category and Product Management teams to drive product improvement ideas

· Take an Ownership role in the continued build-out and documentation of sales infrastructure

· Present results in weekly, monthly, and quarterly business review meetings to key internal stakeholders and executives

· Proven ability to close complex deals and help reps negotiate large deals

· BA/BS required

· 10+ years B2B sales experience in the enterprise space

· 6+ years sales management experience in the enterprise space

· Ability to travel 25%

· Ability to work regionally out of Boston, Atlanta, Charlotte, Jacksonville, Miami, Tampa, Orlando, or Raleigh

  • MBA preferred

    · Knowledge of procure to pay processes and procurement systems

    · Distribution Sales experience

    · Strong quantitative skills

    · Salesforce.com experience

    · Exceptional and effective verbal and written communication skills

    · Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

    · Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, on multiple projects

    · Ability to prioritize and demonstrate relentless discipline in achieving goals

    · Proven ability to influence others; Ability to converse with senior stakeholders (CPOs, VP’s Supply Chain, CIOs, etc.)
