We are seeking a Sales Director for our Platform Products Group (PPG), based in any East US metropolitan area. The Sales Director will be managing the team of Client Executives, to grow the players' skills and territories. This position will report to the PPG Sales Lead.

Key Accountabilities

  • Build a team of high performing, high energy, and motivated territory-based sellers who consistently meet or exceed revenue and margin targets
  • Cultivate a team with the desire to win in the market with major focus on acquisition opportunities and developing new client relationships
  • Implement and conduct a robust pipeline review process to provide accurate and reliable forecasts to the business units and leadership tea
  • Actively review individual close plans and critical success factors for key deals; pull in other sales, pre-sales and BU team members as required
  • Attend critical customer meetings with the sales reps to provide hands-on coaching in the field and support key opportunities
  • Engage in a "Channel First" sales motion through collaboration with resellers, distributors and the end customers
  • Collaborate with the BUs and Product Marketing teams on the portfolio requirements, go-to-market strategy and client messaging
  • Use knowledge of the market and competitors to help identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales
  • Coach sales team to leverage the full capabilities of Fujitsu to present new products and services, enhance existing client relationships, identify decision makers within the client organizations, and present winning proposals meeting the client's needs, concerns, and objectives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, an MBA or equivalent work experience, preferred

• Proven track record of business development successes implementing new practices, leveraging tools and developing sales pipelines

• 8-10 years of sales/management experience in IT-related technology including servers, storage, client computing devices, and mobile products

• Must be a highly collaborative individual with strong interpersonal and leadership skills

• Must be motivated, ambitious and possess exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

• Experience/knowledge of technology hardware products, services and trends required; previous knowledge of Fujitsu products a plus

• Demonstrated leadership ability to envision, drive, and implement new business concepts

• Strong negotiation and analytical problem solving skills

• Expertise in the following sales disciplines: Closing Skills, Motivation for Sales, Prospecting Skills, Sales Planning, Selling to Customer Needs, Territory Management, Marketing Knowledge, Presentation Skills, Meeting Sales Goals
