The CPS Emerging Markets and Strategy team is looking for an experienced Senior Product Development Manager to lead their partnerships expansion initiative. The successful candidate will lead the effort to productize our partnership program and go to market strategy. Knowledge and experience developing the key elements of new business initiatives are important in this role (i.e. business plan, sales and marketing, contracts, pricing, etc.). The ability to network and stay abreast of industry and competitive intelligence is also a must.
Translates overall business strategy and key initiatives into an executable plan.
Manages design, development, implementation and enhancement to the partnerships expansion program.
Works cross-functionally to identify, document and execute internal infrastructure needs.
Leads the development of product pricing and profitability analysis.
Manages the ongoing development of collateral material, advertising, promotional programs, sales training programs, operational procedures and systems requirements.
Maintains competitive analysis and market research of competing products and services to identify customer needs and trends.
Works with the partner and internal cross-functional teams to formulate and execute a smooth onboarding and go to market plan for new partner models.
Manages the on-going research to track, monitor and analyze product performance, profitability and contribution. Provides senior management results reporting.
The position requires strong product development acumen combined with effective interpersonal skills. Also needed is the experience and ability to work with internal teams such as finance, legal and compliance to formalize internal infrastructure needed to expand a program. Additionally, commercial payments experience and knowledge of industry trends are a must.
10 years’ experience in a product development role in the payments industry.
Experienced in executing product / go-to-market strategies across the product lifecycle with proven business impact.
Strong financial analysis skills and experience building winning business cases.
Experience presenting compelling product propositions at external industry events.
Superior communicator with strong presentation and writing skills; confident with senior management and able to partner and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
Motivated self-driver, able to manage complex/multi-geography projects, detail-oriented with proven time management and general project management skills.
Master’s degree or equivalent work experience.
