North America Cloud Technology Marketing Specialist

Function as a North America CloudTechnology Marketing Specialist focused on optimizing the impact of inbound

demand generation campaigns and actively enabling the success of the Oracle

Digital sales inbound team. You’ll partner with team members across marketing

and sales to optimize campaigns, conversion, and pipeline

build. This Marketing Specialist will work

with inbound Sales Development teams in a critical hub, campaign managers, other

sales stakeholders, and potentially partner teams to optimize three functions:

  1. Pre-campaign marketingexecution and inbound sales readiness

  2. Campaign lead-flowmonitoring, support, enablement, and optimization

  3. Post-campaignreporting and sales feedback

This Marketing

Specialist will strengthen the bond between Marketing and Sales by serving as a

liaison between the functions and ensuring that campaigns are setup, executed,

delivered to the inbound sales team, well received, and properly reported on. You’ll become expert at how campaigns deliver

inbound opportunities and how our marketing team can help enable inbound sales

to optimize leads for conversion. Success in the role will be measured by an increase in MQL to

SQO conversion rate, a positive impact to the inbound demand gen marketing

generated pipeline contribution, and minimizing unmatched or unmapped leads.

Responsibilities

Serve as the marketing demand gen subject matter

expert for the inbound Oracle Digital sales team within your assigned hub and

provide hands-on consultation and support:

  • Work with in-hub teams and 1:1 with Sales Development Reps (SDRs) toensure leads from Marketing reach the correct Sales person and/or team in theshortest time possible time and Marketing programs are properly prioritized insales reps queues

  • Provide support, training and educationto Sales/BDCs on Marketing programs so they are enabledfor success

  • Ensure Marketing vendors are deliveringfully formed leads with specific Oracle criteria

  • Create reports and surface insight to optimize lead flow, conversion,pipeline, and resource utilization

  • Provide feedback from Sales to Marketing on program success,conversion, audience targeting and strength of calls to action

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years in SDR(inbound) sales or marketing role; or have a sales background with educationbackground or strong interest in marketing

  • Proven success incurrent role

  • Excellentwritten and oral communication skills

  • Comfortable communicating and presenting ideas to groups andleadership

  • Passionate and knowledgeable about trends in Modern Marketing

  • A plus to have 1years working in consulting/advising role with proven proficiency in:

  • Producingexecutive level reports and presentations

  • Distilling datadown to key takeaways and recommendations

  • Consultativeapproach to supporting and advising marketing and sales managers

  • Basicunderstanding of Modern Marketing technologies and methodologies a plus,including:

  • MarketingAutomation (preferably Eloqua)

  • CRM systems(preferably Oracle CRM)

  • Lead flowautomation architecture concepts such as Lead Scoring, triggered campaigns,predictive scoring, propensity modeling

  • Microsite &landing page design concepts and technologies

  • Audiencesegmentation analysis and tools

  • Buyer’s Journeyframework

  • Marketingwaterfall model and framework

  • Online advertisingand re-targeting associated tools such as DMP (BlueKai)

  • Basicunderstanding of key marketing metrics and how to compile, calculate, andinterpret marketing reporting data

  • Advanced MS Excelskills are a major plus - pivot tables, look-ups, etc.

  • Excellent writtenand oral communication skills

  • Comfortablecommunicating and presenting ideas to groups and leadership

  • Passionate andknowledgeable about trends in Modern Marketing

Travel Component: Minimal. Approx. 5 - 15%

travel within US and Canada may be required to successfully fill this role;

Position Location: On-site at Oracle office in Burlington, MA or Oracle HQ/Redwood City, CA.

Role is based in NorthAmerica and requires close coordination with virtual team.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Responsible for digital marketing of products or services in support of Oracle's demand generation strategy using tools to optimize marketing strategies and enhance the customer experience with new technology platforms and innovations.

Provides support to digital marketing activities that optimize the online user experience, increase marketing effectiveness. Assists on creation of online marketing programs such as search optimization (paid and natural search), affiliated marketing, social marketing, and viral marketing to create buzz and inbound demand responses. Drive traffic which ultimately generates sales pipeline. Assist in translating ideas used in demand generation into promotional marketing campaigns and advertising personas. Ensures localized content is leveraged for all digital marketing channels including, web, social, paid advertizing and outbound emails Conducts analysis for programs effectiveness and uses the findings for market site enhancements and to leverage optimization of all digital programs. Collects and analyzes digital/internet/website/mobile data and statistics which monitor and measure the performance of digital traffic and activities to support marketing and campaign optimization, lead generation for sales, product and engineering teams for continuous improvements to product and data driven decision making. Applies basic application of statistics-based market intelligence to business issues. Monitors and analyzes site performance and reviews tracking metrics to provide solutions to increase search engine ranking and creating marketing personas/audience profiles.

Job duties are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. 2 years related experience. BA/BS degree or equivalent. Proficiency in web analytics applications, strong database skills and technical understanding of website architecture and mobile platforms.
