Bain & Company Inc Marketing Automation Coordinator in Boston, Massachusetts

The Marketing Automation Coordinator will be a champion of innovation for Bain’s marketing campaigns, engaging business teams in using cutting edge marketing automation techniques to help achieve the firm’s strategic business objectives.

As a key member of the Global Digital Marketing team, the Marketing Automation Coordinator will play a hands-on, critical role in assembling and executing marketing automation campaigns for Bain & Company. He/she will become proficient in multiple systems and tools, including Marketo and Microsoft Dynamics CRM to manage and execute global marketing campaigns. He/she will proactively collaborate with internal customers and marketing teams on marketing automation initiatives, taking responsibility for performance, quality, support and reporting.

  • Create, deploy, and monitor automated and demand generation marketing campaigns using Marketo; including nurture programs, lead scoring programs, trigger, and drip-based automated email communications, ad hoc email campaigns, and event programs

  • Build and maintain lead capture forms and landing pages to support acquisition and engagement marketing programs, to successfully reach new contacts

  • Optimize lead scoring, conversions, and nurture campaigns to ensure quality leads are being presented to practice areas

  • Execute web personalization campaigns to customize the Bain.com experience for both known and unknown visitors

  • Work directly with Marketo Support to resolve questions and diagnose/fix bugs; create and follow up on support cases for both technical issues and research for new marketing automation initiatives

  • Analyze campaign results to improve and refine existing processes and programs; Communicate results back to the business in order to prompt action & follow-up

  • Maintain backlog of ideas for new marketing automation programs using Jira and keep stakeholders informed of progress

  • Assist with the support of local marketing users executing event programs in Marketo

  • Collaborate with and support other teams in Global Marketing that leverage the Marketo platform, providing training as needed

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience in digital marketing required

  • 2+ years of experience building marketing programs with marketing automation platforms (Marketo preferred), ideally within a B2B context

  • Knowledge of industry best practices for marketing automation and the ability and desire to learn new tools and technologies quickly

  • Experience working with relevant marketing systems, marketing databases and web based applications

  • Strong analytical skills; Demonstrated passion for digging into data to test hypothesis and continually improve results

  • Process-oriented with strong problem solving skills and a technical aptitude

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment; Enthusiastic, self-motivated and flexible

  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS required

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint strongly preferred

  • Familiarity with agile processes and systems (Jira, etc) a plus

  • Strong problem solving and customer service skills required

  • Outstanding written and communication skills required

  • Experience in a professional services firm highly desirable
