Bain & Company Inc Marketing Associate in Boston, Massachusetts

Under general supervision, provides support for global marketing services and activities across Bain. This part-time position will offer broad exposure to both commercial activities (e.g. coordinating business development collateral; supporting product branding and packaging efforts) and internal activities (e.g. ensuring customer delight via NPS survey administration and reporting; overseeing the firm’s marketing materials store). The Marketing Associate will support and coordinate ongoing processes and projects for these areas.

This is a part-time temporary position. This role will begin in early May and last for four months, approximately working 20 hours per week.

  • Oversee Bain sales and business development collateral

  • Manage the Bain Data Files including yearly updates to ensure information is most up to date

  • Respond to requests for information as needed

  • Ensure best in class customer delight/ satisfaction for Global Brand service teams (Design/ Video)

  • Manage the NPS survey process for the Design and Video teams including distributing surveys, monitoring results and producing quarterly reports

  • Marketing store management

  • Support vendor relationship with fulfillment house: respond to inquiries, investigate and resolve problems, handle billing/shipping and other issues that may arise. Monitor and reconcile all inventory-related issues

  • Support internal online marketing store: add new items, monitor inventory, handle billing/shipping issues, respond to internal requests/questions, coordinate distribution and produce regular usage reports

  • Manage inventory for materials: coordinate purchases and permissions, coordinate distribution and resolve any shipping issues.

  • Prepare, submit and track invoices for materials, copyright fees and other projects

  • Manage the monthly chargeback reporting process with Finance

  • Support vendor relationship with HBR; respond to inquiries, manage the reordering process, handle billing/shipping and other issues as they arise

  • Tracking of annual office meetings

  • Manage spreadsheets tracking yearly office meetings and their outcomes

  • Respond to request for information as needed

  • Outstanding organization, detail orientation and verbal/written communication skills required

  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong teamwork, customer service and problem solving skills

  • Ability to understand Bain’s business and consulting services

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams in fast-paced work environment required

  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously required

  • Maturity and professionalism to handle requests and exchanges with a broad variety of (sometimes) senior stakeholders across the organization

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook required
