WE are the Experience Design team at DigitasLBi, and we are looking for an Lead Designer of Experience Design to join us. We create digital products and experiences that are designed to become a part of people’s lives, that solve their problems, and that bring delight. We are made up of folks with skills in visual design, UX, interaction design, content strategy, creative technology, mountain biking, pickling, needlepoint, and so on.
YOU want to create (insert florid adjective here) digital/physical/virtual products and experiences that make people take notice. You've done it before with scrappy teams of three, or with armies of talent. You might have a title like XD, VisD, UX or some such thing. (You hate titles.) You've got exceptional technical proficiency, but know that style and taste are equally important. Therefore, you have really good style and taste.
What you’ll do:
Maintain the highest standard for the work and push for the same in others
Collaborate effortlessly with cross-disciplinary teams from strategy, technology, account, and production
Know—and set—trends in design, interaction, technology, and art
Own large projects from kickoff to completion
Understand how to design to a customer’s emotional and physical context
Confidently present your work to clients and advocate for it in a win-win fashion
Design experiences that meet client objectives and exceed customer expectations
Perform under the pressure of deadlines
Want to learn, love to teach others
To qualify, you’ll need:
A four year degree
An excellent body of work
5+ years work experience, agency is a plus
A blend of experience, visual, interaction, and brand design skills
An eye for design, a love of technology
Experience managing, mentoring, and evaluating teams
Exceptionally high standards
Curiosity and passion
Open to travel as needed
