This position for the Director - Digital Product Management directs product management across the Cloud Workflows and Archiving product portfolio incl overseeing the development of strategic roadmaps, and influencing cross-functional teams to align with the direction & roadmaps. Engages the broader GE Healthcare in establishing cloud strategies, and R&D plans aligned with our platform and capabilities in Healthcare Digital.
Creating and delivering on the strategic roadmap for Cloud Workflows and Archiving, including leading the creation of product roadmaps, requirements, and business plans.
Responsible for product line performance with targets on orders, revenue, cost & margin. Identifies and influences market trends and opportunities.
Bring thought leadership to the team for the Cloud Workflows and Archiving in healthcare.
Operationally lead a team of senior product managers to work closely with engineering to ensure at each step of development program intent and goals are continually met. Be a domain/business expert for the portfolio to guide teams, establish/refine product management processes and build and mentor high performance team of Product Managers.
Aligning with all GEHC teams outside of Healthcare Digital to form cloud strategies, to leverage the platform in a unified way, and enable their success at building and offering new cloud and archiving capabilities to their customers. Establish and manage strong relationships with customers, GE businesses & sub-businesses, account managers, technical sales and user/developer community, partners and technical experts across industries and geographies.
Capability to communicate the vision and roadmap for the business to key customers to inspire and engage them
Ensuring customer focus by communicating and building rapport with customers as required and ensuring the “voice of the customer” and changing market realities are accounted for
Facilitate and make resource allocation trade off decisions between product-lines to ensure optimal overall solution for customers.
Close collaboration with marketing to translate customer needs, market analysis, competitive analysis, and regulatory environment factors into actionable strategies and tactics for the product.
Work cross functionally across Eng, Mktg, Sales, internal and external customers, analysts and sr management teams to formulate and execute the strategy.
Managing key business financial performance indicators and continual improvement of customer loyalty and net promoter score.
Conducting product research to further understand the competitive profile for the segment worldwide (where applicable) and opportunities for growth.
Establish tradeoffs between internal development and business partnership activities with strategic partners-including contract negotiations and maintenance, product changes, forecasting and financials.
Drive simplicity in the offering for customers as well as implementation and service teams.
Coordinating the needs across a multi-functional organization, including marketing, sales, operations, engineering, and services teams, while ensuring compliance with quality systems and regulatory requirements.
Evangelize for the product by presenting to customers and users groups; represent the product at trade shows and with media; sell product roadmap internally; participate in winning large deals; provide sales training, and generate enthusiasm for the product. Participate in events and industry associations to influence the direction for the business and technology in the segment.
Foster an environment that encourages innovation. Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, Business Administration, Healthcare or related field
8+ years’ experience in product management, product development, or related field
10+ years healthcare product/industry experience (software or medical devices)Eligibility Requirements:
Domain expertise in the clinical content space
Prior experience in a leadership role managing people
Must be willing to travel up to 50%, including global travel.
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Strong analytical and process skills
Strong project management skills
Ability to work effectively within a matrix environment
