Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a highly talented and hardworking Designer II to join our Transportation Group in our Boston Massachusetts office.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Develops design concepts and criteria, calculations, and detailed design and construction drawings

  • Prepare information regarding design, structure specifications, materials, color, equipment, estimated costs, or construction time

  • Participates in design team activities using software tools

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree of Architecture

  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience

  • Must be comfortable working in a high energy environment with frequent swift deadlines

Must be proficient in the following programs:

  1. Microsoft Office

  2. AutoCAD

  3. Revit

  4. SketchUp

  5. VRay

  6. Rhino

  7. Adobe Creative Suite

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the design of transportation buildings such as airport and/or rail passenger terminals

  • Experience with the software Lumion

  • LEED Certification
