Responsible for coordinating activities associated with the growth of a specified Children’s Hospital giving/donor program or programs. Works to engage key audiences to achieve successful outcomes and works to support the development of short- and long-term relationships with current and potential donors. Continually evaluate the program and conceive of creative ways to expand the program and maximize revenue through solicitation, stewardship, donor acquisition and marketing activities. May be responsible for transactional activities for department including budgeting, gift processing and analytical reporting.
Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles and concepts typically acquired through the completion of a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years’ experience in development, marketing or customer service. Work requires strong organizational skills, consistent attention to detail, high level of productivity, advanced multi-tasking abilities, and a solution-oriented performer. Work requires superior communication and customer service skills. Work requires the ability to work as part of a team and independently. Work requires strong technical skills in general software programs (MS Office) and the ability to develop proficiency in specific database management systems. Prior fundraising experience highly preferred.
