Role Summary:

The Contract Overhaul Manager develops practical and innovative ways to identify and meet goals.

Essential Responsibilities:

In the role of Contract Overhaul Manager you will:

  • Be responsible for work that is less defined in scope and have the understanding and experience to execute business objectives, be involved in short-term and long-term planning and contribute to the overall business strategy

  • Be responsible for all aspects of overhaul management, including proposal development, risk management, specification compliance, scope development, transactional pricing, customer negotiations, customer communications, execution and issue resolution

  • Interface with the Region Sales teams to develop commercial strategies and solutions that will meet customer requirements as well as meet or exceed business goals

  • Coordinate internal business functions to insure proper execution of overhaul scope. Meet schedule commitments, manage execution, insure quality of execution, document change orders and document scope execution

  • Meet order budget, proposal timeliness and project profitability Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (OR High School Diploma / GED with a minimum 7 years of experience in a contract negotiation or sales role)

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a contract negotiation or sales role Desired Characteristics:

  • Ability to structure creative deals for customer solutions, negotiate contracts, and deal effectively with customers

  • Prior experience in sales and execution is preferred

  • Strong business acumen

  • Ability to influence and lead cross functional teams

  • Six Sigma training is preferred (GE employees only)

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
