The Contract Overhaul Manager develops practical and innovative ways to identify and meet goals.
In the role of Contract Overhaul Manager you will:
Be responsible for work that is less defined in scope and have the understanding and experience to execute business objectives, be involved in short-term and long-term planning and contribute to the overall business strategy
Be responsible for all aspects of overhaul management, including proposal development, risk management, specification compliance, scope development, transactional pricing, customer negotiations, customer communications, execution and issue resolution
Interface with the Region Sales teams to develop commercial strategies and solutions that will meet customer requirements as well as meet or exceed business goals
Coordinate internal business functions to insure proper execution of overhaul scope. Meet schedule commitments, manage execution, insure quality of execution, document change orders and document scope execution
Meet order budget, proposal timeliness and project profitability Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (OR High School Diploma / GED with a minimum 7 years of experience in a contract negotiation or sales role)
Minimum 3 years of experience in a contract negotiation or sales role Desired Characteristics:
Ability to structure creative deals for customer solutions, negotiate contracts, and deal effectively with customers
Prior experience in sales and execution is preferred
Strong business acumen
Ability to influence and lead cross functional teams
Six Sigma training is preferred (GE employees only)
Strong oral and written communication skills
