Job Description: The corporate communications senior manager will be responsible for leading and contributing to a range of content-led projects, many of which cut across the company’s businesses. These can include our work for our presence at the World Economic Forum in Davos, our role as content provider to the B20 and the G20 Young Entrepreneurs Alliance, and the creation of content for Accenture’s cross company themes.
These content projects are broad in nature and cover themes such as Artificial Intelligence, digital platforms, workforce strategies in the age of digital. They are research-based and often involve preparing for exploitation of the content at high profile events.
Accenture is investing significantly in transforming the nature of its content marketing. This is raising expectations and resulting in powerful output that balances in depth insights and research with consumable and shareable digital assets. It also requires a more disciplined and market savvy approach to narrative development.
Support/ lead the structuring of research-based content and the development of narrative and messaging, working with Accenture Research. Support the creation of marketing assets: reports, video material, landing pages etc. working with our creative agencies. Taking on some of the operational management of projects to time and budget. Undertake writing work as required (working with report writers and our media relations teams). Convene outside voices in platforms that bring the content to life. Working with internal communications teams, industry and GU marketing teams to disseminate the content. The individual will report to a content marketing lead in corporate communications. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or other four-year university degree Minimum of 8 years' experience in corporate communications (specifically in the business / technology sectors) Minimum of 8 years' experience analyzing, disseminating and communicating complex information and developing clear "market ready" messages Minimum of 8 years of success at building strong working relationship with senior leadership
Professional skill requirements :
Strength in understanding a range of business and technology issues, and being able to create stories that suit multiple audiences: from clients to media
An ability to interpret complex data
The ability to guide non marketers, such as Accenture Research, on the development of content
The ability to manage / work with creative partners (digital creative agencies, social media, media partnerships)
The ability to function effectively within a matrixed organization, providing counsel to business leaders and to marketing colleagues in key geographies
Strong writing and content strategy skills
Strong project management skills
Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian Note that the role does not require specialist social media or digital marketing skills – Accenture has its own dedicated teams with which this person would work. Previous media relations skills could be of value, but not critical.
