Decision Resources Group Associate Marketing Manager in Boston, Massachusetts

DRG is seeking an Associate Marketing manager to support day-to-day operations and tactic management for a portfolio of DRG solutions. Reporting to the Director of Campaign and Segment strategy, this role is responsible for ensuring that marketing campaigns are executed efficiently, appropriately, and on-schedule. Through collaboration with the larger marketing team, this role will accelerate the successful implementation of marketing campaigns against business goals to maintain DRG’s position as a leading market intelligence company and data provider within the global healthcare industry.

In order to succeed, the Associate Marketing Manager needs to have a basic understanding of marketing fundamentals including the creative process, marketing production timelines for various medias, and production requirements for both digital and print tactics. Activities performed by this role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Help to drive the implementation of marketing campaigns and overall strategy

  • Facilitate and streamline tactic creation and production from beginning to end by creating project plans and schedules

  • Communication of project schedules, proactive identification and elimination of roadblocks

  • Track and report on project status and activity to key project stakeholders

  • Quality control of select marketing campaigns to ensure that tactics are deployed as expected and planned. This includes: proof-reading, production proof review, digital testing, etc.

  • Track and report on key campaign performance indicators as defined within the marketing plan

  • Layout of select marketing collateral within pre-defined templates

  • Copy-writing and/or editing of select marketing tactics

  • Update select website and social media content

  • Investigate and coordinate deployment of marketing tactics with approved media outlets / vendors (i.e. costs, specs, timelines)

  • Collect and maintain up-to-date content library for select portfolios, and ensure that all marketing collateral is appropriately distributed and documented

  • Track and report on spend against budget for marketing campaigns


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or similar

  • 2 – 4 years marketing experience, or equivalent graduate coursework

  • Strong project management and communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products

  • Experience in Salesforce, Pardot, and/or Smartsheet

  • Highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced team environment and is readily adaptable to changing market and organizational requirements

  • Experience in Wordpress

  • Experience maintaining and managing social media accounts and content

  • Understanding of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industries is a plus
