The Senior Developmental Editor will work with Accenture Research colleagues under the direction of Accenture Research’s editorial director to:
Collaborate with senior team members across Accenture Research, a global group on the cutting-edge of Accenture’s innovative thinking, to ensure world-class quality and clarity in their thinking and messaging, for both external and internal constituencies Shape new, differentiated, practical ideas, end-to-end, in collaboration with Accenture Research leaders, that align with Accenture’s strategic messages and themes Write and edit of a wide variety of materials, including articles for leading business and management journals, as well as documents for publication by Accenture Contribute to new and in-development internal and external showcases of Accenture Research’s breakthrough ideas Collaborate with senior Accenture Marketing leaders to improve their understanding of Accenture Research written outputs and to help them achieve Accenture Research’s and Accenture’s marketing priorities Coach Accenture Research team members at all levels in the communication and writing skills necessary for the development of publication-ready thought leadership Help manage a complex publication pipeline that spans Accenture’s businesses, industries, and geographies Work seamlessly with fluent but non-native English speakers Build and maintain strong idea-partner relationships throughout and across a wide range of content development teams Integrate a wide variety of perspectives in a complex stakeholder environment Maintain a consistent level of high quality across all written work, as it originates from all parts of Accenture Research Qualifications: Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor´s Degree or Equivalent
Minimum of 10 years’ work experience as Business Journalist or Editor Preferred Skill Requirements:
M.A., or equivalent Strong editorial judgment and ability to absorb and distill complex ideas Demonstrated ability to write for C-suite audience Editorial experience in professional services firm Editorial experience in leading management journal(s) or publication(s) Working knowledge of the following is highly useful:
Current challenges facing companies at the intersection of strategy and technology The history of seminal business thinking The management publishing landscape Key Accenture competitors and their thought leadership content and channels Key business research techniques and how to interpret and critique research results
