We have an exciting opportunity for a Pricing Manager who will be an integral member our rapidly growing Industrial Solutions business unit. The Pricing Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining the pricing activities and models within the business and product lines globally. You will also be the pricing expert for the group’s business and markets that will help drive business and strategy decisions with analytics, business modeling and market research skills. The position offers a great opportunity to lead our pricing global in a fast-paced, growth oriented, industrial technology environment.

Detailed Description

  • Develops and delivers pricing strategy and executes through standards, policies and best practices for throughout the lifetime of the product

  • Partners with Product Managers, Sales, and Marketing to develop and quantify value base pricing through research, modeling, and analysis of market and competitive pricing dynamics to correctly position our product portfolio in our different channels

  • Works closely with product management and sales to maximize the profitability of new and existing business and channels by systematically employing key transactional and strategic pricing levers as well as win/loss analysis

  • Develops reports and processes to reduce/stop Price and Margin Leakage

  • Generates pricing analysis to drive EOL decisions and discussions along with the Product Managers

  • Manages the price book and on-going pricing adjustment

  • Works across functions to plan and launch new prices and price changes end-to-end and delivers the internal and external communication to execute it

  • Cooperates with different functions across organization to have better market and competitors understanding to be able to develop transactional pricing databases and analytical tools.

  • Evaluates business proposals by understanding the pricing implications of the opportunity

  • Anticipates and communicates issues while using root cause analysis to recommend corrective actions and potential outcomes

  • Ensures consistent reporting and communication of pricing strategy that helps determine market, industry, and competitive price trends

Job Requirements

  • BS in Engineering, Mathematics, Accounting, or technical discipline is required. An MBA is highly desirable.

  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar role with data modeling, or pricing analysis experience

  • Leading teams in a matrixed organization with physical/tangible industrial products strongly preferred

  • Expert in value base pricing knowledge and skills

  • Experience accurately scoping out the length and difficulty of tasks, and being able to assemble resources to get things done effectively and efficiently

  • Strong analytics and business modeling. Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skill is a must


  • High energy level with an unfailing commitment to success

  • Ability to effectively communicate internally and externally at all levels

  • Working knowledge of basic finance (e.g. income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) and business case assessment through discounted cash flow analysis

  • Working with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, sales, planning, quality assurance and operation

  • Achieving results in a matrixed, team oriented, global environment by positively influence and build relationships with team members

Additional Details

Occasional domestic & international travel is required (10%), as well as availability for early morning or late evening conference calls with colleagues, customers, and suppliers in other regions
