ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Marketing Programs Director for CTO Integrated Solutions is a pivotal, strategic, results driven marketing role in the Patient Care & Monitoring Systems Business Group (BG). Philips Patient Care and Monitoring Systems (PCMS) is a market leader in patient care globally and a significant contributor to the growth and profitability of Philips HealthTech. As the global market leader in high-acuity patient monitoring, we continue to provide innovation and to shape the market. With the healthcare industry undergoing massive transformation, Philips continues to re-evaluate and improve our ability to provide customer value – and this role is critical to that innovation. As part of the Chief Technology Officer and Integrated Solutions Design and Development, there are critical future integrated solutions that need to be managed as a program through Piloting and Build to Scale activities and handover for commercialization.

The ideal candidate will have strong ability for formulating, organizing and monitoring inter-connected projects under the overall program. Deciding on suitable strategies and objectives. Coordinating cross-project activities. Be an excellent leader and will have experience in managing staff of different disciplines to produce results in a timely manner. They will also be able to develop efficient strategies and tactics. The goal is to ensure that all programs deliver the desirable outcome to our organization and customers. Leads a complex and innovative game changing program in markets with multiple projects in Marketing with that is driving the design and development of new services and business model solutions. Formulates the program / project plan, in accordance with the goals and timing, set by management; specifies the manning of the project, resources required, anticipated costs and assesses risk. Controls the program / project budget and program progress, evaluates project initiatives as to feasibility, costs/benefits and added value, and takes corrective actions when necessary. Leads the project within the project budget and program strategy in terms of quality, money, and time.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Formulate, organize and monitor inter-connected projects within the overall Program

  • Decide on suitable strategies and objectives

  • Coordinate cross-project activities from Pilot Preparation through execution of multiple pilots in various countries.

  • Manage learnings from pilot into solution design evolution

  • Lead and evaluate project staff for on time delivery

  • Develop and control deadlines, budgets and activities

  • Apply change, risk and resource management

  • Assume responsibility for the program’s people, pilot execution agreement and customer expectations and service delivery

  • Assess program performance and aim to maximize ROI

  • Resolve projects’ higher scope issues

  • Prepare reports for management on progress and areas of issue / investment

  • Strategic value and risk management: Identifying the important value drivers and key risks, ensuring those involved do not lose focus on strategic aspects, and leading efforts to mitigate risks and accelerate value creation.

  • Change management: Anticipating upcoming changes in project stages or collaboration participants, managing transitions smoothly, as well as facilitating complex discussions with the customers to map a way forward when unanticipated situations or corporate decisions in either party trigger issues in the Program delivery of the Pilot.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Proven experience as a Program Manager or other managerial position

  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods

  • Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (Basecamp, MS Project etc.) is a strong advantage

  • BSc/BA diploma in management or a relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
