Responsible for Managing a team of Customer Success Managers who ensure smooth implementations that achieve cost, quality and revenue goals of our new suite of Enablement product offerings sold to providers, delivered to the core Anthem business and sold to external plans.
Manages executive communication, serves as a single point of contact for the client and an escalation point for clients who have issues with their engagement, tracks overall progress towards achieving goals, ensures the creation of an overall project plan, identifies and resolves worry items and gaps in the project plan and directly oversees staff dedicated to each project (customer success managers) and indirectly manages other staff involved in the client engagement (clinical, technical, analytical, etc.).
Becomes an expert on the Enablement product / solution suite and the broader Anthem capabilities and acts as an advocate for their clients, bringing technology, process and other resources to the client implementation as needed to drive client success.
Assesses potential clients’ capabilities and needs and ensures that the offering is tailored to the client’s unique situation and best situated to realize the client’s goals during the business development cycle.
Enables new product implementations through effective piloting with existing and potential clients.
Designs and develops appropriate governance forums to manage performance, including executive steering committees that review deal progress, outcomes and challenges.
Identifies gaps, risks and worry items during all stages of product implementation, ensuring they are surfaced and mitigation strategies identified and implemented.
Supports account renewal process, bringing Business Development back into the process as initial phases are coming to a close and assists in identification and development of renewal options for clients.
Hires trains coaches counsels and evaluates performance of direct reports.
Requires a BA/BS; 10 years’ experience managing large customer implementations and / or consulting engagements; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Experience working with payers and providers preferred.
Deep experience and knowledge in value based payment models, and value creating enablement capabilities preferred.
