Responsible for working with management to identify and implement varied projects, programs and plans that support achievement of business unit and enterprise goals.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
•May specialize in one area of organization effectiveness (planning, project portfolio, or culture/change) or be assigned to directly support a business unit and ensures activities are aligned with corporate strategy.
•Works closely with leadership to support or drive special enterprise or business unit projects
•Gathers data and evaluate new product ideas or business development opportunities in the context of potential, practicality, strategic planning and implications.
•Manage relationships and partners with corporate and regional business areas;
•Partners with Product Development team and Marketing to ensure efficient execution of Medicare Advantage or Part D bids and development of marketing materials
•Partners with vendor management to identify and implement vendors solutions supporting various products
•Identifies potential issues, project change, and resolution •Leads efforts to identify best practices; identifies impacted parties, business partners, and resources required; develops and designs processes and systems that support business need. •As needed, leads the project prioritization and scheduling activities for the business unit. •Provides expertise to the business areas in culture/change management activities; provides expertise in process planning activities; provides expertise in portfolio management activities and supports the execution of the operating plan. •Manage communication internally and externally while influencing at all levels within the organization to ensure objectives are met and aligned with strategy and direction. •Provides support and subject matter expertise in response to day to day business issues, researches applicable subject matter practices, and remains aware of industry trends. •Directs or supports execution, including development, management and updates of execution documents to support annual changes within a line of business
•Develops/updates documentation to support meeting presentations and the tracking and reporting of project success.
Qualifications: •Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field; •10 years managing mid to large-scale change/project initiatives including knowledge of planning methodology, project management and change management experience (strategic and execution); or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. •Experience in the Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement or PDP Product development or Marketing required. •Masters degree preferred. •Strong project management skills required. •Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Power Point required. •Some limited travel required.
